Rob Tyler, AIA is a licensed Architect in the State of California, President, and co-founder of Tyler+Kelly Architecture. With over 35 years of professional experience, Rob has been responsible for the design and construction oversight of over 300 projects including commercial, industrial, institutional, and mixed-use developments, as well as multi-family and single-family residential developments.
Rob approaches each new project with the primary concept that design should personify the unique functional and aesthetic needs of the client without imposing any pre-selected architectural vernacular. The result is a synthesis of fine custom architecture, reflective of the client’s unique lifestyle and workflow patterns, responsive to site opportunities, and responsible toward budget constraints.
With both a significant depth of experience dealing with complex entitlement processes and having served in appointed capacities for several municipal review boards, Rob’s perspective on process brings balance to the sensitive challenges of infill development in an urban context.
